Tourist prices increases at attractions

ADMISSION FEES INCREASE

It is announced that the admission fees all over Egypt will increase from November. Also, the fee for the Sound & Light Show in Temples of Karnak in Luxor, will go up from EGP75 to EGP100, which will be effective on January 1, 2009.

The best one we got from a taxi when telling him to put the "tac-tac" on was on arrival back to the apartment he told me his meter wasd in dollars lol.
I went from Hadaba Rd to El Kawser said on meter 4something so tried to charge nearly 2 quid 20l.e

Alot of the shopkeepers do it in the evening when a little cooler when the wind picks up a little and all their goods get covered in dust and sand.
