Many congratulations go out to Hurghalady on the safe arrival of two adorable dalmation puppies, HL, hubbie and adopted big daddy Daniel all doing well. We are looking for names/suggestions to call HL 2 adorable dalmatian puppies, both boys...any suggestions ?
We like the name
Dido
Darcy
any other suggestions ?
Hopefully HL will now be giving us a regular update on their antics as they start scooting about raiding the villa.

I think Dido is female name after a Greek goddess, Wasn't the singer named after her?
He might not like being called that

 LOL
D'arcy is lovely though.
Are Doberman's German?
What about
Deutz
Dagmar ( is that female?)
Danke
or
Dimitri
Degas
Dino
Diablo
Dudley
Diego
Digby
Dweezil
Dylan
Domino
Donald
Douglas
Dreyfuss
De Niro

LOL Ebi, they are Dalmatians not Dobermans. Dalmatians are originally from Croatia. Now start again

I have to say, the names are good though. We had already said Dino and Dylan, which they are actually gatting called at the moment, so great minds ay !!!
Dino was Jacks favourite toy from a puppy, we used to say fetch Dino and he would, so my husband wants to call the one that looks like Jack, Dino. I don't like Dino that much, I chose Dylan but my husband doesn't like Dylan. The other one I like is D'arcy but not sure if that would suit a Standard Poodle rather than a Dalmatian.
Do you think by calling them all with D as the first letter they will not understand their own name? I would like to call them all with a letter D.

I think it is the end of the name that animals pick up on so I'm sure all the names starting with D would be fine. What about Danube, you could always shorten it to Dan or Danny & it makes one of the Croatian borders (I had to look it up to check

) If you already shorten Daniel, you could always shorten it to Nubi?

				Oh No!
Not the name thinking game again!
I really am rubbish at coming up with names, when my little dog first arrived here, wanted to give her a really excellent name .... but as she started racing round the flat I called out come here you cheeky Sausage, and the name stuck. So my poor little girl has been Sausage all her life!
I'd like to add that my other dog Romeo arrived here with his name as he was a rescue dog - I would never have thought of anything that sensible - indeed if he hadn't already had a name - I was toying with Mash.

Excellent stuff!

If it was me I'd have to name one "Diggity" and the other "Dawg" - just so I could stand on the beach and shout it!

Still have not decided, we just can't agree, meanwhile they are still being called Dino and Dylan, Dylan being the one that has the least spots. I am working on D'arcy but hubby said ok change Dylan to D'arcy, it's Dino I want to change.
