Beans On Toast
1 Empty the can of beans into a sauce pan, and cook until boiling. Some people, myself included, like the beans to be over cooked, so they begin to almost come apart.
3 Toast two slices of bread in the toaster.
4 Place toast on a dinner plate and spread butter on the toast.
5 Pour the beans over the toast.
6 Eat while still hot

Oh that made me laugh Spike. You sound just like my eldest daughter who buys: Frozen Roast Potatoes, Auntie Bessie's Yorkshire Puddings. Shop bought sausage rolls. Shop bought pies.
Not convinced those girls are mine! I reckon they were swopped at birth.

Here was me hoping to pick up a new recipe!
The whole recipe goes a bit to pot though when the beans vanish off the supermarket shelves.

Baked beans come in cans. I think they are white haricot beans cooked in a tomato sauce.
