Who's in charge of the remote?

Post by Sharm4me »

My husband comes in from work and immediately changes the channel I have on to watch Egyptian channels that I can't understand, then leaves the room to do something else, I change it back and he comes back and changes it again.... :x Anyone else got the same problem and how do you deal with it?

It's time to take back control, girl! I most definitely hold the remote - and even when I allow a certain other person to hold it for a short while - I signal my displeasure with a flick of my hand until he turns over. This goes on until we get to the channel I want to watch. It would probably be faster if I held onto it all the time - but we get there in the end!
Woo Hoo!!!!! I've got a signature!

My son does the same when he comes home from work.......ha ha... I got fly to him 1 day & took the batteries out beforehand...... he shouts " the remote is flat" not even checking to see if batteries are still in there  he then disappears into his own room with tv & I'm left in peace with perfectly working remote.

Of course now & again I still have to take the batteries out but he still thinks its gone flat

 I think it's so rude to turn the tv over when someone namely me is watching it, he only tried it once and got a right earbashing !
Needless to say he now knows his place regarding the remote control

I think this is the case with all relationships.

My husband has a terrible habit of channel hoping during adverts and we end up missing the start after the adverts. Bloody annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:x:x:x:x

Stay single and you can watch whatever you want, whenever you want ;)
