It was a large cruise ship Anna :) it hit a pier in Sharm and ripped a hole in the side. All passengers were taken to hotels while the ship was fixed, it was crossing over from Safaga. Two Indians and a Brazilian died. Four tourists -- three British women and an Italian man -- were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Egypy does not have a good record when it comes to boats and buses ..
We was crossing the nile and it nearly tipped cause of the wind .
And when i was on honey moon very long time ago we took a bus to the Alamain and the tyres blew up ..scarry
Anyway still very sad and thoughts are still with them .xxxx

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful, 32 degrees with a stiff breeze. The stiff breeze became stiffer all through the night. It was blowing a gale here!

The storms and weather seem more intense this year or is that just my imagination, coupled with the fact that i appear to ahve turned into a storm chaser and am reading a lot of Egyptian weather reports.
But thinking on it, it is dominating the forums at the mo, so maybe its not just my imagination after all :!:

I know what you mean Christine, of course I have Keefy frightening me everyday telling me he is sure it's right about 2012 :? He is convinced it is going to be either a nucleur bomb or solar flare that's going to finish us off in 2012, he made me watch a documentary about Nostradamus which has made me worse!
