I love Georgia...
I love my house between the tall pines....
BUT....
The last 2 days we've had NO WATER!!!!
The pipes are all frozen up.... no chance of a thaw until at least FRIDAY!!! :cc

yes I know ... I've been without water for a couple of hours in Egypt waiting for a water truck.... but never been without water for DAYS ON END!!!

Spending a fortune on supermarket mineral water just to flush the toilet... and as for a shower..... forget it!! I've never felt so skanky!!!

This is the coldest spell in Georgia for over 20 years!!

Next winter will definitely be a long Egypt holiday for us!!!

even if my pipes had burst or no running water ,all i know now since friday ,we cannot go anywhere ,thats our break gone

No water = no fun

The heating stopped woring here for days and it was like living in an ice box! Managed to get the boiler going again though so it's just about livable now.

Hope it gets sorted soon.

Do you have snow as well?
You could always fetch that in in buckets and let it thaw. One has to become creative in these situations
Living in Egypt does help in that respect.

So, next time our water goes off I'm outside looking for snow

They are mean arent they Susue, just plain mean, hope it all gets sorted out.
We have finally cleared a path from our door to our car, neighbours fed up with seeing me do my bambi impersoantions i think as i merrily glide around my gate on the ice each day
We have had a couple of power cuts but nothing that lasted too long.
Also we lost all our digi box signals for a couple of days, latest technology first to go down, and no post for 8 days now, but to have no water would drive me insane, hope it starts to thaw honey, we have begun a thaw, but the forecast isnt good so dont know how long it will be before im skatint about again.

BB Lux.... if we had snow, I would definitely be collecting it.... but there isn't any!!

Hey there you are clean!!
Well our snow has stopped but only to be replaced with rain, that drizzly stuff that really makes you feel miserable, bloody weather
Quite a few roads are open and we have transport back on, but no sign of any post yet!!(9days late) no papers and no milkman, guess they could all be under a snow drift somewhere but i doubt it.

Got up this morning and it's snowed again! pfft!

Hope I can make it to Gatwick ok!
