New Gal, glad you arrived safely. Now the trials and tribulations begin :roll: I'm sure you will find something to suit your needs though.
Hurry up and get sorted because the "Luxor Mob" are planning a raid on Hurghada in the next few weeks for a little retail therapy.... is that what you ladies call it?

Well I can't get a flight back at a reasonable price at the beginning of Feb so I'm now looking to head back 20th Feb with Jet2 to Sharm where I'll spend a week or so looking around before getting the ferry back home.

So, I decided I need another trip to (1) recharge my heat glands and (2) get another 20kg over.

I was cheaper to take the 10 days than a week so that's where I'll be from Monday.

Hey all!! Hope all is well inshallah, I AM LOVING IT HERE, WOOOHOOOO!!! :d2:

Lee, see you on Monday. I know you want to make another trip and get more stuff out but isn't that more? I paid £380 for my extra weight remember??

BBLux, come whenever you want, I plan on extending my stay in the hotel as I love it and also, I am not compromising on an apartment, not now that I have seen what I can and can't live in. I came here to have a fab life so I am not budging at all, not on location, view, price, on anything. Now I am here and have been living like the locals (apart from the hotel, where I don't even sleep that much as am out all the time) but with getting the for 75 piasteres a ride right up to what my earning potential can be, I don't need to. I'm aggressive enough to argue/haggle/blag for what I want so am waiting until I see 'THE ONE', gorgeous on the outside and in, comforting, welcoming, I am talking about the apartment remember :lol: ;)

Claire, I have seen something today that is just an empty shell, literally. And the smell....I can't think back as I will gag.

So now I am sitting in a cafe, trying to drink green tea to start my new regime, looking out at the Red Sea, free wi-fi and got my CVs printed for free too as the guy "liked my smile" :roll:

Bet I don't have to pay for my drinks either and tomorrow is another day...another cafe.... another smile :lol:

Anything is possible here, literally :D

NG, it's costing me £200 for this trip and then £170 in Feb for the final trip out, total weight 50kg, which should be fine for me.

Good luck anyway New Gal. I'm sure you will be fine! How many times do I have to say I wish I was there too. Believe me if it was n't for the kids schooling and of course my Mum and Dad I would be seriously considering moving. One day God willing.

Hello you! Was wondering where you were and I think I posted somthing a while ack asking how you and Jujey are.

I'm ok thanks, meant to be moving to my apartment tomorrow which is in El Kawser but just been up and its not been cleaned or sorted as yet, contract still not ready and landlord text me saying "busy, call u later" after I called him twice and text him to come up to the apartment.

No sense of urgency or anything!

I've done a full inventory and walk round and if the things I want doing are not completed by 5pm tomorrow, I will be going back int bitch mode :x :x

You are so right.....keep pushing them till all is done...Don't want to be a downer but tomorrow is Friday and you know that not a lot happens until after prayer time...so guess you will have to go into bitch mode...to get all finished........

Wll I moved in at 4.30, sorted basics out and then went out to eat with a friend after which I had an interview 1 hour from my place. Went there and after the interview, bumped into a friend at the same hotel, weird!

Got back home at 12.30 and just wanted a shower and to go to bed. Stripped and switched the shower on, no hot water :x :x

Called both the doorman and the landlord and kicked off, they were round mine until 2.30am, got it sorted, showered and went to bed absolutely exhausted and didn't get out of bed until 3pm! I must have needed it as that is so unlike me, normally up with the crows!

Set all my kitchen up today and cooked for a friend, off out soon for a drink with some bloke who is a bit too keen, I'm not but hey, hes taking me out ;) :lol:

Yeah its great being in my own place, just a bit tired of being up to elbows in bleach lol.

All the rooms are set now apart from guest bedroom in which I have dumped all my clothes, shoes, jewellery, everything.

I really don't know how I managed to get all that stuff over, I've shocked myself as to what all I have with me!
