Hi Guys
Well after extensive tests swabs cultures etc its all bolied down to the fact that Alan is going back into renal failure.
We knew or guessed that this kidney wouldnt last much longer a good while ago, but its still a massive shock as its come so soon, and so fast.
Alan i dont think will be up for another transplant, because he also has a heart condition that would prevent prolonged surgery,so its dialisis, starting tomorrow, he will be linked up, and have his first session.
He will also recieve a booster blood unit, so that will help, and they can give him suppliments while he dialises, as he is lacking iron and calcium.
To top all of that off he has fluid on his lungs which has built up a nice little infection so he is having antibiotics as well, thats about it i think, its been a lot to take on board.
I will keep you posted of his progress.

A very brief update
Alan is responding to dialysis, is responding to nutients his apetite is begining to come back and his antibiotics seem to have started to work.
There have been a few more minor complications but they are being dealt with.
Still no idea when he is coming home.

OK there is a mess in my kitchen diner

the puppy has been leaping about a lot

and there are a large pair of trainers just plonked on the floor in the hall

and a grey coat keeps falling off of the bannisters end because he couldnt be arsed to put it in the cupboard..............................................
