Our perfect meal out Egypt or England. or mix em up !!!

Might be nice to dream up our perfect meal out, this can be simple fare or a feast include wine or tipple of choice.

Starter....Smoked Salmon Turine , thinly sliced cucumber, good butter and a light grannery roll

Main Meal ... Fillet Steak medium to well cooked mushroom sauce (on the side) selection of fresh veg, fresh poatoe skins nice and crispy.

Dessert ..... Tiramisu

Follwed by a good cheese board.

Pre dinner drink Whisky and soda
Wine Rhijoca dont care that it dosent go with it i like it oh and i cant spell it either.
After dinner drink Whisky and soda (large)
Mmmm yes i think that would be rather nice.

We had what must have been one of our best meals in the UK recently

A wonderful mushroom soup decorated with yoghourt, olive oil & ground dried porcini mushrooms.

Asparagus bundle wrapped in chicken breast with Palma ham round the outside, sliced through on the diagonal & stood on a plate, with a triangle of asparagus spears, a ring of asparagus & lemon sauce with broad beans (peeled) & olive oil & rosemary roast potatoes

Followed by hot chocolate sponge with a melted truffle filling & strawberries plus strawberry couli!

All cooked by our son for fathers day

Kept saying we needed a photo, the main course was stunning & then Barry remembered I had a camera on my phone, only got the dessert though

Barry had a home made beer before & we both had a very nice white wine with the meal. Wonderful
