Ok bit confused

I was checking to see if someone is online and it showed me only but what gets me ,for me being from the UNITED KINGDOM i got a IRELAND FLAG

i know it was UNION JACK before ..i cannot get it right thanx any help please .

i dont know where i belong or to which COUNTRY i am .So confusing ..

My flag also changes ocassionaly to the european union one instead o british!
