Things that go bump in the night!

My question is do any of you beleive in the spirit world, ghosties ghoulies that kind of thing, and if you do what are your experiences of them

As MUSLIM nah should not think on it but yes me beleive ,recently i saw a black shadow pass by me quick .my daughter once said when i was very sick someone was appearing over me ,oh i shudder now ..so i am 50 /50

I believe in them, especially since Islam recognises the concept of a spirit world too but thankfully I have no experience of these things.

Its just as well too, I hate anything connected to scary stories, horror films etc. Moving halfway across the world all alone I can do, anything scary just makes me freak out and even now, stories I heard as a child can play on my mind for yonks

yes we beleive in the spirits it also and what does it say of jinns on women and men .
what does women do that provokes the spirit world same goes for the man .
i dont tend to dwell on it cause its not good i have known women to recite surahs backward and NOT GOOD .I have also had someone try to put a jinn on me did not work i have faith not to meddle and i certainly would not bring provoke ness on myself either .

But not all spirits are bad spirits are they, im a believer.........ish but only because there are some things that just cannot be explained away easily
Im also a believer in second sight, i once dreamed that my foster sister was going to be taken away, the clarity of this "dream" was such that its why i still remember it so vividly, and a week later my "dream " came true in detail right down to the phone call i had forseen , telling my mother that she(foster sister) was going to be collected in a week and that they would be leaving for Nigeria,we had had no clue, and the little girl had lived with us for 11 years!! it was so................... weird.
Similar things have happened since.

I've also had expereinces with precognition I think it would be called, similar to what you have described Chris and its happened often.

I just think of it as a sign from up above x

Well i dont know about that but they do say we only use a small portion of our brain, and that precognative, or extrasensory perception is as yet untapped generally speaking, so we are unaware of what we are capable of really.

Oh god no. not Omar bless him, I love Sam Elliot, rather partial to Mel Gibson, even if he is behaving like a pratt, also like the Hugh's as in Grant and Jackman, could force myself to spend a few hours with Nicholas Cage.
Clive Owen is quite scrummy, and for my Golden oldie it has to be Robert Mitchum, all that broody acting,, oh yes, thats about it i think, but you know me about another 6 will pop into my head as i submit this, ha DENZEL............... mmm how could i forget DENZEL

Yes I believe on ghostly going on's, I've had loads of things happen around my home things moving around, seeing spirits & OMG I cant forget the 1st time it came into my bed & cuddled me, I turned round ....nothing there! I jumped so fast out my bed, heart racing so fast I thought it was going to stop, put every light in the house on & had a good look around....dont know what I expected to see I've had this visitor a few times................bet your all laughing now.............I wasn't at the time & now I just give it a dig & tell it " go away "

I've had loads of premonitions through dreams all of which have come true.........mostly all of my immediate family members.

Ive never had a ghostly cuddle yet, but have had the distinct feeling that someone was sitting on the end of my bed, this carried on for months, not every night, but now and again, a weight, enough to wake me several times, but nothing there, i was scared at first, then i thought i was going a little ga ga, but then as i seemed to realise nothing was going to happen to me a s a result of my visitaion, if thats what you would call it........ it stopped....... hasnt been back !

Forgot to add that......feeling the weight when it came onto my bed & the indentation left on pillow .

I never told anyone of this happening for a very long time incase of folks taking the mickey

I always say "it" cause I aint sure if its male or female....hopefully male but who ??

funny come to think of this my son aged now 17 used to see dead people ,i used to think he was barmy but he did stopped when he became 9
on top of that the girl did exspecially when she nearly passed away she said she saw this man waiting ,she came home a month later and said thats the man ,she was talking of my dead dad she said he said not time sweety .
sometimes i am skep then i am not i read quran and i do beleive but i sometimes dont want to way it down one side i still keep open mind to answers .

When we lived in our old house i would be about 15 years old i had one of my first ghostly experiences, it was a smell not a sighting or a sound, it was very heavy perfume that used to invade my bedroom at night, preceeded by my room feeling very cold, even during summer time.
No-one else could smell this perfume only me
We searched the room, and smelled the linens and the carpets but to no avail, my mother agreed that the room did become unusually cold but she could never smell this heady scent.
Our neighbour had lived next door all of her life and i told her about the smell, she told me 2 elderly sisters had lived there when her own parents had moved in,they both died in the house, at different intervals, one of them had used my room, as her bedroom.
The names of the sisters were Charlotte and Christine.
Guess which one had my room?
