Just a small thing

Post by Scott »

Just a small thing - but I hope you all will be as moved as I was:

Best to all,
Scott

Remember those who served that day. Pray for them and their families.
Let us never forget.

Oh, Lord. Hear my prayer. That day... watch over their souls, accept them into your Heaven. To a life in eternal youth and joy. Theu have done their time in hell.

Lord, watch over their families. Give them strength. Give them hope. Give them support and give them love.

Amen.

I think if we just take the time to look around - we are surrounded by heroes - every day.

We have so much to be grateful for.

Hello Scott, yes we do have a lot in our lives, often taken for granted.
The small things people do every single day for someone somewhere that makes no difference to them, but oh so much difference to those on the recieving end.
Heroes dont have to make big gestures or be big people do they, they can be anyone anywhere anytime helping anyway they can.
Heroes are people who give of themselves, and dont give up on us.well those are my thoughts anyway. :)

Yes, heroes are the ones you don't notice until it matters.

A very moving reminder of the many heroes that day. Thanks for sharing Scott. Cocoabutter I like the words of that prayer.
Such a sad day and so many lives lost and touched.
