Wetting the ground

Post by Chocolatey »

I know the idea of throwing water all over the streets is to keep the dust down - but I think it makes more of a mess........ do you think that wetting the ground helps !

I'm not aware of the practice per se but being asmatic, I can say that watering the dust down helps a lot.

Alot of the shopkeepers do it in the evening when a little cooler when the wind picks up a little and all their goods get covered in dust and sand.
Common practice in Hurghada. :D
