Soon its the Spring Festival in China, I have seen the rehearsals, look brilliant. Hope that CCTV will put the big spectacular on. Wish I was there now to see the start of "Year of the RABBIT" and buy one of the lovely gold rabbit neckaces - - :ring: :clap: :ring:

Wellllllllllll Jayway - since you commented!!!

Yesterday I was at an Ethnic Days Celebration. Many of the different cultural groups were represented however one of the first dances there was from Buddhist Youth from Viet Nam who did a dance to usher the Old Year out and welcome IN the New Year

I believe it was call a Dragon Dance. This was the head of the Dragon

And this was a group of girls doing another traditional dance from Viet Nam that used fans. All of the clothing was super nice too

Thankyou LLL, what lovely shots of the fluffy dragons. You certainly get around a lot - has the snow gone now ?
