I may be wrong but I think you will find the ban is on all international calls using a mobile phone and a service like Skype.

I think international calls using something like Skype through your computer and a land phone service like Vodafone will be fine, regardless of whether it is using 3G, EDGE ...

OK, I see the problem - the ban is on MOBILE calls, landline based internet is OK.

NOt sure what the problem is - in the last hour or two, I have successfully completed Skype video calls to USA, Russia, Estonia and UK.

Could it be your service provider?
